Many B&B sites fail straight away with their front page as they do not show their rates clearly. You may think that people want to see pictures of the exterior of the house (they do but not immediately). They want to see price and availability.
They assume the B&B is clean, modern and serves food! But they also are possibly searching based on price. Having your rates on a secondary page involves someone finding the link and clicking.
Many people don't . Put an attractive image with a banner of your prices in a professional presentation and you will make your visitors site experience more useful and you may get a booking as you have made it easier for them to find your prices.
