The B&B business in recent years has become cut throat and in many cases successful businesses are closing or struggling to stay open.  In the past ten years most B&Bs have developed some form of website to show their business online.

We are a website design company based in Cork and have found that despite this many B&Bs have websites that are not doing them any favours online for a host of reasons that we hope to cover in this regular set of articles.

B&B Website Problems

To list some of the unique problems that we see with websites.

• They were created quickly and look cheap
• The websites do not present what we know from our Internet marketing experience that people want to see.
• The websites are heavy on text in the first few pages and discourage interaction
• There is no booking page
• There is no menu
• In the majority of cases you don't  show the prices.  People want to know prices and they are often hidden on a sub page that people don't  visit
• You have no statistics on your site for visitors
• You cannot update the website at all
